Welcome to the journal of America! It is almost Thanksgiving! There are a lot of facts that you might have gotten wrong about Thanksgiving. It is really surprising how much that I didn't know either. Like, that the real Thanksgiving probably took place in October, not November. Plus many more!! You should check into it!

Books

Welcome to the journal of America! Well, let's talk about books. I just finished reading a book called Shadows on the Sea, it is really good. Only now I am about half way through Incantations, it is about a girl in Spain in about the 1500's. It was sort of like World War II back then in Spain. They didn't like the Jews, and either forced them to go to the Christian faith, or they had to leave. This girl, Estrella, is secretly a Jew and at first she didn't know it, but now that she does, she is really scared that someone might turn them in. Also she has a secret love that is promised to her best friend. It is a very very very good book!
